Samsung started testing Jelly Bean for Galaxy Ace 2

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, the successor to the popular Galaxy Ace might still get the update on the Jelly Bean. As expected, the Galaxy Ace 2 ICS will skip directly to get an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 rugged Jelly Bean droid goes official

Samsung just announced the Galaxy Xcover 2, an IP67-certified Android phone. It improves an all the specs of its predecessor, from a bigger screen to a more powerful processor.

Android 4.2.2 Rolls Out to (Most) Current Nexus Devices

Those of you with Nexus devices will most likely have received an update to Android version 4.2.2 by now. The news of the OTA was broken on the forums yesterday by XDA Senior Member kataria.vikesh. Those of you who have not are no doubt on the verge of applying the update manually after a lengthy session of gawping at your status bar awaiting that notification. Nexus 4 owners may find themselves waiting a little longer than the rest, as there doesn’t seem to be any sign of an update for the device yet. However, the changes have already been merged into some custom ROMs. This latest version, build number JDQ39, was also pushed to AOSP yesterday meaning that we should soon see this latest update becoming unofficially available on a whole host of devices.

HTC One XL Jelly Bean update rolling out now

Another Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update has started from those folks at HTC. Today it looks like they’ve initiated the rollout of Jelly Bean for their popular HTC One XL for all those lucky owners. For now it appears that multiple regions in Asia have begun receiving the OTA update, and others will follow shortly.
